Origin - Native to Europe.

Other info. - This clambering, weedy species has been reported in just a few Missouri counties but will almost certainly spread with time. The plant can be identified by its angled stems, pinnately divided leaves (which have tendrils at their apices), minute flowers, and short-stipitate fruits. The peduncles of the inflorescence exceed the leaves and are terminated by 1-3 minute flowers. The fruits typically have four seeds (tetrasperma).
