Origin - Native to U.S.

Other info. - This little species can be found mostly in the southwest half of Missouri. The leaves of the plant are small and thin and the plant looks essentially leafless. P. incarnata has glaucous stems and larger flowers than any other species of Polygala in Missouri. These characteristics make it easy to identify in the field.
