Other info. - This striking species can be found in the southeast corner of Missouri. The plant is fairly uncommon but may be more common in the state than has been reported.
This species is easy to identify becasue of its large inflorescences of pinkish-purple flowers. This is a fairly tall plant, reaching nearly 1m tall.
