Other info. - This big species can be found scattered throughout Missouri. The plant is rather large but not quite as stout as the related R. crispus L.
R. obtusifolius can be easily identified in the field because of it big cordate leaves, which have crisped margins. Often, the veins of the lower leaves are red.
