Other info. - This weedy species can be found scattered throughout Missouri. It was originally planted as hay but has now escaped throughout much of North America. It is an easy species to ID in the field because of its deep bluish-green stems and clusters of florets. D. glomerata is also a major cause of hay fever in the summer months.
