Other info. - This species can be found mainly in the southern half of Missouri but is found in a handful of counties north of the Missouri River also. The plant can be identified by its fairly open inflorescence, rounded capsules, and hyaline-margined perianth parts. The perianth parts are equalling or mostly longer than the capsule.
