Other info. - This species can be found in just a few southern Missouri counties. The plant can be identified by its dense, very thin leaves, and its big inflorescences of bluish flowers. The typical species has slightly broader leaves that are flat. As seen above, variety filifolia has very thin leaves with revolute margins. The leaves are rugose.
